Salisbury Square, you're looking lovely

It feels like a long time since we could look out the front door of the Sustain Coffee Roastery and see anything other than building works, but the day has finally come.

On June 13th, Salisbury Square had its grand opening, with street food, music and us!

We broke all our cafe records, and honestly, it was like being in the busy coffee shops I worked at before joining Sustain. I haven't made so many lattes on the trot for a long time.

As well as our regulars, we had so, so many new faces coming through the door. Most of who didn't know we were here, or assumed we were a new shop that was opening at the same time as the new square. We’ve had some fantastic conversations with people who lived right around the corner. If that's you come on in, say hello, and let us help you find your new favourite roast!

It's great to open our doors and see the trees across the square, but hopefully, this will mean more than just a good view -- it means more people finding us as their local coffee shop. The front of the shop and the cafe area will also be getting a bit of a glow up soon, so watch out for that!

We're open longer now (9am-4pm weekdays, 9am-1pm weekends), and we're hoping to welcome a lot of new customers into Sustain for a coffee, a pastry, and good natter ☕💕
